the location was excellent and very convenient. the staff were lovely, super friendly and available! the bed in the room was comfortable and the shower was quite big.
i had loaded fries and a drink. i was overcharged for a drink, which i realised once i left. i was charged £12 for a vodka martini when i only had a martini and lemonade. also, i paid the service charge.

The location suited my needs perfectly. It was close to shops and restaurants. Staff carried my luggage to my room. The room was spacious and clean. I found the bed and mattress to be comfortable.
There wasn't a lift in the building. Carrying luggage up steep stairs was difficult.

the rooms were very very comfy and tidy. i had delicious avocado on toast with a poached egg at the restaurant downstairs one morning. the staff were very friendly and well organised!
the hotel website promised a continental breakfast, i booked and pre-paid for. the hotel provided a standard pub breakfast menu only. i would have preferred the advertised continental breakfast.
